Cookies
Every cookie this site sets, by name, with what it does and how long it lives.

What is set
Four, and no more. Nothing here is set by anybody but this server.
| Name | What it does | Type | Lives for |
|---|---|---|---|
| sessionid | Keeps you signed in | Strictly necessary | 12 hours |
| csrftoken | Blocks cross-site request forgery on forms | Strictly necessary | One year |
| django_language | Remembers the language you chose | Functional, at your request | One year, written only when you switch |
| cookie_consent | Remembers your answer to the bar, so it stops asking | Strictly necessary | Until the browser closes |
Why the bar says 'disclosure'
Under the GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive, strictly necessary cookies do not need consent, and the language cookie is only written when you actively pick a language. So there is currently nothing here to reject. Saying otherwise, with a Reject button that changes nothing, would be a dark pattern.
Your answer is still recorded, and the code checks it before setting anything that is not essential. The moment analytics, an embedded video or a marketing tag is added, it goes behind that check — which is why the check exists before there is anything to gate.
Third parties
None. Every stylesheet, script, font and image on this site is served from this host. Nothing is fetched from a CDN, which means no third party sees your IP address because you opened a page here.
Changing your answer
Use the buttons below at any time. Clearing your browser's cookies has the same effect and the bar will ask again.
